Oak Ridge is located in the beautiful country setting of Minnetrista and is operated by a caring, trained, and professional staff. Family owned and managed for over 50 years by the Swanson family. We specialize in boarding, daycare and individual attention for each pet.

Come see why we were voted the Laker/Pioneer "Readers Choice" Best Kennel/Boarding Facility for several years now! Individual attention is given to every pet through out the day. We walk all dogs several times a day. By individually walking each dog, we are able to give them our attention and affection. Dogs in group settings do not receive that special attention. If you want your pet to have off leash time, we happily offer additional play/love time. Outside, inside or if your pet just wants to have some one on one love time we can do that in their room! We give awesome belly rubs and ear scratches!

Oak Ridge sets itself apart from other kennels because we specialize in individual care and attention. We do offer small group play for social dogs. We feel that even a good dog can have a bad day. They play with us because we want to have fun and play too!
Holidays - we are closed on Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day

My dog and I love this place. The staff is very welcoming. I love the one on one time that Rocket had. He's a little grumpy , old man , but they made him feel so happy and loved.
If you are looking for a place that will not only care for your dog but show them attention and love, this is the place.
I also love the location, away from the loud city noises. And I received a text message halfway through the week, letting me know how he was doing. That was the best!!!

My dog Bowie loves Oak Ridge! He gets so excited when we pull up and runs right to the door. The staff are amazing. Super kind, great with communication, and they clearly love him. They’ve helped me out last minute, sent me updates and photos, and just take such good care of him. He always comes home happy and tired from all the playtime. Couldn’t ask for a better place!
