Immunizations Required

Please make certain all immunizations are current before boarding your pet. Bring in a copy of the shot records for us to keep as well as any medications needed.

• Shots required for dogs: Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella.

What To Bring

Please bring their own food. This will minimize the possibility of an upset stomach.

You are also welcome to bring your pets bed, blanket, treats, and toys for their stay. Please note that these items may become soiled or destroyed while your pet stays with us.

How we care for your pet(s):

Rooms are cleaned daily.

Dogs are walked and watched throughout the day.

Dogs are given a nap time mid day.

Dogs are individually handled and receive personal care such as petting, talking to, playing, and snuggling.

24 hour music and security along with a back up generator that will keep your pet safe and comfortable.

We supply a Kuranda Bed for each pooch. These dog beds provide excellent joint support, and are chew proof. You can add an additional soft mat on top also.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Will my dogs get to play with other dogs during their stay?

Here at Oak Ridge we specialize in individual attention. That being said we do allow dogs from the same home or dogs that already know each other outside of Oak Ridge to play with each other with a signed agreement. We also offer puppy daycare for dogs under 1 year that allows puppies to play with each other as we feel it is an essential part of a puppies development.

2. Can my dogs be in the same room with each other?

If you feel that your dogs will be happier in the same room together we are more than happy to have them share a room. However, if we notice that the dogs would be happier in separate rooms we will separate the dogs. We also can kennel dogs together and seperate them for sleeping or eating times.

3. My dog requires special attention?

We strive to provide each pet with whatever services they need to have a wonderful stay with us. Our staff will take special cases on a case by case scenario. Please give us a call to see if our staff can accommodate to your pet’s needs.

4. Can I put their pills and supplements in their food?

You are more than welcome to put any supplements in your dog's food. Prescription medications do need to be seperate from the food. If there should be an emergency, we need to be able to tell the veterinarian exactly what medications your dog has received.

5. Can someone other than the owner pick up or drop off my pet?

Yes, we will need to know that person's name and payment will need to be made ahead of time or by them. Said person will need to provide an ID before the pet will be released.
